Founder and President
David has been involved in curling for more than 35 years, from playing at the high school and college level, to tour events, and staging the HOT SHOTS Curling Camps in Canada and the United States.
As a reporter he’s covered multiple Canadian and World Championships. He’s also worked for Team Russ Howard coordinating sponsorship, publicity and promotion.
David has produced and coordinated major sporting and live entertainment events, working with sponsors, athletes and celebrities. His company produced the initial webcast of the 2000 Labatt Brier in partnership with the Canadian Curling Association and Sasktel.
Through PROCURLINGWear, David brings his passion for the sport and attention to detail to every order. His mission is to provide players from the elite to the club level with great fitting, beautifully designed custom curling jackets and shirts at competitive pricing.
Senior Graphic Designer
Emma Miskew graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. Since her graduation, she has pursued her interest in graphic design on a part-time basis while working initially for the Senate of Canada and most recently as member of the design team for the rehabilitation of the Parliament Buildings in the Canada’s capital.
Emma is also an elite athlete, playing on Team Rachel Homan, whose achievements include winning back to back Scotties Tournament of Hearts titles, and bronze, silver, and GOLD in 2017, at the World Curling Championships. Congratulations to Team Homan, the 2017 World Women’s Curling Champions!
She has been designing curling jackets and shirts for her team for years and is now bringing this skill and passion to PROCURLING Wear.
Darryl Lalonde is a graduate of the Design and Visual Arts Program at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario.
He has spent the past 26 years in the print & design business working on a wide variety of business to business design standards, including logo creation and brand development.
He has been involved with PROCURLING Wear since our inception, supporting customers’ logo and design needs at lightning fast speed. He is committed to delivering excellence in all facets of his design work.
Paul Balabuck is a Technology Teacher at Georgian Bay District Secondary School in Midland, Ontario. He is also the Assistant Camp Director for the HOT SHOTS Curling Camps.
